Why CPC Is Like A Shopping Mall

I got this idea on my way to work this morning.

When you go to the shopping mall there are all kinds of stores. You may be able to find the item you are looking for at multiple stores, but for the most part the stores will have their own niche.

Now what if there was a shipping mall just for cordless drills. Every store in the mall sold nothing else but cordless drills.

A customer looking for drills would go to this one shopping mall.

If you were one of those store, how would you get the attention of this prospect? On what point would you compete with the other stores?

CPC advertising is much like this scenario I just described.

As a CPC advertiser how do we measure up to the other advertisers. What can we do to close the sale.

Something to think about.
