30 Day Challenge Final Update

We are now in September and the 30 day challenge is over. As mentioned yesterday I am working on a new project that will start this Monday. Look for a post about "10 Minutes A Day".

I learned a few new things during the 30 day challenge this year. The biggest being finding Google's friends and sticking to your numbers.

The traffic to my niche blog that I made for the 30 day challenge got more traffic yesterday then this blog did. And all I did was one post.

Expenses for the 30 day challenge was $0. I did like Ed said and didn't spend any money. I'm going to follow this rule for my 10 Minutes A Day project this month as well.

Income was 60 cents, all from AdSense. I could not find a digital product to promote. Instead I promoted a book from Amazon and a few related physical goods from a website with an affiliate program.

Clicks to the book and physical product were below the 200 needed to test conversion. Looking back, traffic was nice, but not enough to generate 1 sale per day.

I am first page for my desired broad term and exact match. If I can get in the first 2 spots I should be able to make a few sales.

At this point I am torn between working on the blog to see if I can get it to #2 or just letting it sit to see what happens naturally over the next 7 to 10 days.

Stop back tomorrow for my stats and project balance for August. And don't forget the new 10 Minutes A Day project starting on Monday.

Michael
