Making More Money In 2007

Hello Again,

For Christmas my wife got me a massage chair. It is from WalMart and she said it was one of the cheaper ones. Doesn't matter to me, it works great.

Tonight after work I relaxed for 10 minutes in my new chair and thought about my business and what to do next year. I also started to think about my 2007 goals.

The holiday season is always slow and gives me time to think. I will post my penny project goals on here later this week or this weekend.

Double Your Money Starting With One Penny

How is your penny project going?

Today I was talking to my friend Allen about the double penny project. He mentioned getting some money for Christmas and adding that to his double penny project.

I told him that I didn't think that should count. I want to only do things that others can do as well.

If I were at the $1 level and purchased a lottery ticket and then won $500. How would that help others to learn to double their money. Same goes for a gift of money.

I want to show on this BLOG how I turned one found penny into 6 figures or more. My BLOG posts will be a couple days a week and contain most of the details of what I did at each level. I have a PDF ready with an outline of each step so that someone that starts later won't have to read months worth of BLOG posts.

This week I will finish my one page "hotsheet".

Website and BLOG Traffic

Every website and BLOG needs traffic. If people don't see your site then they can't get to know you or buy your stuff.

There are times of the year that you just can't get traffic no matter how much you are willing to pay. The holiday season is one of those times.

Traffic on my network of sites is down.

Now you are probably why I mentioned this and how it can possibly relate to the double penny project.

Well, take a guess. And no it does not have to do with creating an information product.

When I get up into a higher level this is going to be something that I take advantage of.

I will fill you in later.

An update on my ebay test for my other website. As mentioned above. Traffic is slow. So far I think I have less then 20 hits. I threw some ads on the page just to help with income if the main part of the site does not convert.

Finding The Best Shopping Deals After Christmas

The day after Christmas is one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

In the past the day after Christmas was often used to return gifts and buy things that were on sale at a huge discount. Now that gift cards are more popular there are not as many returns, but the deals are still there.

I know people who will shop for next Christmas the day after Christmas to get the best bargains. For me, I can't think that far ahead.

But for the penny project and using a small amount of change to make lots of change the day after Christmas is a prime opportunity.

Depending on what level you are at you may need to shop at the dollar store. Keep in mind when looking for something to buy for your penny project that you have an idea how you are going to sell the item you buy.

Even if you buy something that you can't sell or make a profit from. It is a learning experience. Just limit your risk to an amount that you don't mind loosing.

Today I started a new test on ebay. For right now I am not going to give any details. If the results are positive I will do a single page info product or even a full info product with videos.

That reminds me. I still have to work on my single page info product for the penny project.

Pennys For Christmas

How cool would a penny be for Christmas.

This is a great idea.

Wrap a penny and penny project instructions in wrapping paper. At first the person getting the penny will think that you are cheap.

But as they start to get involved in the project, they will realize that you gave them the best gift of all.

I should have time to post tomorrow, but will probably skip Sunday. Depending on my plans I may post on Monday.

One Penny Project

Advertising On Web Sites Ranked Number One

In an annual survey by Direct magazine 49% said that they plan to increase spending on advertising on other web sites.

Card pack spending is expected to increase for 18% of the people who answered the survey.

What does this mean for a penny project BLOG? Probably nothing. I can't see Ford sending me an email asking for my ad rates on this BLOG.

If I have time on Saturday I am going to make a couple design changes to the BLOG.

This is the most fun project for making money that I have ever done. I am so anxious to move up to the higher levels.

I have an ebay idea that I am dying to try, but will have to wait 2 more levels. I was thinking about testing it as part of one of my other websites, but that wouldn't be fair for the project. So I will wait.

What Online Forums Do You Visit?

I was having some internet problems tonight. My connection keeps getting dropped.

Anyway, I started to look at a magazine from earlier this year.

Revenue Magazine. It is very good.

One of the things in the magazine is a neat forum. That got me thinking. I visit a few forums and help people with their problems or make comments and suggestions as needed.

One Penny Project Promotions

Thank you for the kind comments and suggestions.

It would be real cool to make $100,000 or more without investing any of the money that comes in. But without using the inbound money for growth I think the project will take forever.

So that said I am going to invest the money that comes in for growth. So that puts me back on track with the plans I was working on.

How Much Money Can You Make Starting With Nothing?

Well the answer for me right now is $1.66 with about $4 outstanding to be paid to me from deals I worked on last month.

So far all the money I made came from no investment of money. That is I started with nothing and either found money or provided a service in exchange for some money or sold someone something that I got for free.

I am now getting to the point where I am looking at using my current money to grow faster. OR Should I continue to see how much money I can make without touching ANY of the money that comes in.

Now that would be a challenge! The Penny Doubling projects online all use the money that comes in as they work up the levels to keep doubling what they have.

But I wonder how far one could go without investing any of the money that comes in.

I guess this is something I will have to think about. I know it can be done. This BLOG was free and gets visitors every day. I could easily sell a could text links and earn more then if I had a couple thousand sitting in the bank. And that would be for doing nothing other then putting a couple links on this BLOG. Yet another thing I need to think about.

I am still working on my one page idea. If I go the route of not investing my money that comes in then it will have to be a digital product. And I will have to figure out how to do the delivery. Email I guess. Unless I can find a place online that offers free storage space.

I have an idea for when I get to the $100 level. It would require some of my income from previous levels so depending on how I go forward with this I might have to re-think that idea.

Great Ideas When You Are Tired

Last night I went to bed very late. Then I had to get up early to go to work. Our dog isn't feeling well and woke us up a few times through the night. So I am lucky if I got 2 hours continuous sleep.

This morning I was very tired, but the ideas kept flowing into my head.

Fortunately I wrote all the great ideas down.

Nothing new with the penny project today. I do have some ideas for my next step.

My One Page Idea

Ok, I figured out what I am going to put on my one page.

If I have time after Church and before the children's Christmas Show tonight I will get started. I am thinking it will take me 2 or 3 days to complete.

Once I have it done I will list it here for sale. I have to decide if it is going to be a digital download or if I will print it out and mail it. Cost and profit margin will be the main factors. Since this is for the penny project I don't want to charge much, but I also don't want to take a loss.

I will have an update on the person who is stealing my content later this week. Yesterday I got an email from my host telling me the formal procedure to get this other website shut down. For now I am doing some tests.

Buy A Franchise Or Start Your Own Brand

Today I was telling someone about the Double Penny Project.

We were talking about the higher levels. The discussion turned to a franchise. Like SubWay or Quiznos.

Would it be better to buy into a franchise or start your own business and build your own brand?

Since it is going to be a while until I get that much money I have plenty of time to think about it.

Making Money With One Sheet Of Paper And Don't Steal

First, I found someone stealing my BLOG posts from my other BLOG. This did not make me happy. They just took everything I wrote and put it on their BLOG with no link to me or anything.

Now on to the money.

Did you think of any ideas on how you can make money with one sheet of paper?

You could offer a service of some type and use the paper to make coupons.

Like I mentioned yesterday you could put some information on the paper and sell it.

How about sports picks or scouting the local high school football games and selling your research to the coaches.

There are many ideas that you could use to turn one single sheet of paper into a few bucks.

I am off to do some more research on Ebay. Who knows maybe I will write up my research and sell it? Probably not.

Sell One Sheet Of Paper

Here is an idea to turn a couple cents into a couple dollars.

Take a sheet of paper and write something informative on it. Then sell that sheet of paper.

For example. Mary is turning 50 on Saturday. You do some research about what was happening in the world on the day Mary was born. You then call her family & friends to get some personal information from her childhood and current events. Compile all this onto the sheet of paper with some nice designs. Then sell the sheet to Mary's husband to include in her birthday invitations. Another idea would be to do this free for Mary's husband in exchange for having your contact info at the bottom of the page.

All this from one sheet of paper.

Found A Dime And More Doubling Ideas

Today I found a dime on the floor near a snack machine. I am still not intentionally looking for money, but finding it much easier then when I was looking.

More doubling ideas on the way. One thing I was thinking is taking something with little or no value and turning it into something of value.

The passive income research is now on hold. There wasn't enough interest to make it worth my time. I will do the rest of my research as I advance the double penny levels.

Web 3.0 And Doubling Your Money

I read an article today about Web 3.0 and the future of the internet.

Some say that we are currently in what is called Web 2.0 where consumers are also content providers.

For example YouTube doesn't make videos. Users make videos and upload them to YouTube for others to see.

What will Web 3.0 look like? Well we don't know.

How can we leverage Web 2.0 to double our money? Well that is yet another interesting question.

How can we leverage the "Hot Spots" on the internet to double our money?

Now to focus on ideas to turn my $1 plus change into $2 using Web 2.0 technology. More on that tomorrow.

As for Web 3.0 we will have to wait and see what the future holds.

More Ideas For Doubling $1

Here are some more of my thoughts on doubling $1 into $2.

5) Start a BLOG using a free service and put advertising on the BLOG or promote an affiliate product. This would not involve the $1, and would take some work.

6) Offer to sell something on Ebay with your account and charge them $1 over the fees and costs involved. This is along the work side, but still not a bad way to turn a buck.

7) Collect cans, bottles, scrap metal, etc and sell it to a buyer. From what I saw elsewhere it takes a good bit of scrap to make any money. You might want to research more before trying this one.

8) Create a one page PDF with information that you are an expert at and sell it for $2 or a little more. There are free tools that will let you convert to PDF. I mentioned only one page because more will be mentioned about this in the future.

9) Loan the $1 to someone in exchange for interest. Obviously it will take a wile to double $1 to $2 doing this method, so I will move on.

10) Go to a casino and bet on red or black. Better odds then the lottery and this idea wouldn't teach anything. Again, I would not even try this one.

How To Turn $1 Into $2 - Double Penny Project Thoughts

Right now I have over $1 and next to make $1 to get to the next level.

So far I found some money, sold a free coffee coupon that I was given and earned some advertising income. In a couple days I should have my check that will add more then $1 to my tally, but for now I want to talk about turning $1 into $2.

Here are some ideas that I came up with to turn $1 into $2.

1) Buy a $1 lottery ticket. This investment could return a huge amount, but the odds are that I would loose my $1.

2) Buy something for $0.25 and pay Ebay $0.55 in fees to list it in an auction. In the past I made purchases this low and got returns up to $15. Again, the chances are slim of finding that one item for $0.25 that will sell at a profit after fees.

3) Actively look for more money. With this method there is no risk to the current $1. Looking for money doesn't teach you much and for me, that is why I will do something else.

4) Sell a Text Link Ad on my BLOG. This would bring in about $5 for one month. Selling Ad space is a great way to make a couple extra bucks.

Too Busy With Passive Income Research

This week I wanted to focus n my next steps in the penny project.

Instead, I went off on a Passive Income research binge. In the end this research will benefit the penny project. But for right now I need to focus on getting to the next step.

Passive Income HotSheets

I decided to create "HotSheets" instead of one single PDF. That way I will be able to complete the first one or two areas in my passive income research sooner.

I talked to a co-worker about the penny project a couple days ago. This lucky guy found his first penny & thirtyfive cents on his first day.

He said that when he gets a dollar he is going to buy a lottery ticket.

That is one way to try and double your money, but remember the odds are against you. The best ideas give you more control over your outcome.

Passive Income Research

Wow, this is great stuff.

I am having a blast doing passive income research. On the down side there is a lot of crap out there. But so far I found some great sources of information that I can trust. If I find any good products along the way I will make note of them as well.

The research should be done next week and it could take a few days from then to get a PDF created. I might do a BETA release to a couple people before I decided how to distribute it.

Once the PDF is done I plan on making it a living document. It will change and get updated often. As always user input will be welcomed.

Passive Income or Residual Income

I think I am going to re-focus my research.

Instead of just residual income I want to fin passive residual income.

There will always be some kind of work to do. My desire is to find a project that run without attention for 3 weeks. That way I can check in on it once or twice a month.

Now the hard part is figuring out how to develop a passive residual income project that will scale to a nice amount of money.

Residual Income By Investing Under $5

This week I am going to focus on research on how to invest $5 or less to generate residual income.

The plan is to start at a high level. Then dig deeper.

I have some ideas based on things I did in the past. To be totally open I will try to forget what I know and attempt to look for new ways.

Today I stopped over at Ebay to do some research. The down side is the "Work" effort. I want to focus on ways to generate income that will produce results long after the "work" portion is done.

Double Penny Project Now At Level 9

Adding my $.47 November advertising to the 2 cents I found give me $1.55 in my double penny project.

This does not include advertising income from another network that was not confirmed yet.

My current plan is to continue thinking about how to double my money when I get to $5 or $10. Up until that amount I plan on just earning advertising income.

Found Another Penny

Today I found another penny. I'm not really looking anymore, but I will still add it to my count.

I didn't get a chance to total up my advertising income yet. The network ads may take 15 days for verification. I might just put up the confirmed amount then post the rest when it is confirmed.

I should be close to $5 now. I will post an updated total in a couple days.

Next will be how to double that money.
